Access to real-time traffic information was crucial to enable drivers to avoid congestion and delays. With multiple deliveries scheduled for the same day, the company needed tools to prioritize deliveries based on customer preferences and delivery windows. They needed to be able to give \u2018driver at the door\u2019 clear instructions and reduce the amount of SOP\u2019s the driver needed to remember. In addition, they needed to ensure that deliveries were matched to the right vehicle specifications in terms of size, weight, and fuel efficiency and to the correct driver for compliance with regulations, depending on the nature of the shipment.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"margin-top: 15px;\"><strong>Solution<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Dispatch Science&#8217;s route optimization functionality provided a solution that offers significant benefits for life sciences and time-critical medical deliveries.
